A Life is Ended

Was at Bukit Batok MRT earlier to go to IMM to meet Amy to discuss life in general when i saw something none of us should ever have to see. And more importantly, no one should ever do.

Fast, efficient determined
Full of life and purpose
Full of resolve
Inexorable
WAIT!

With a scamper of feet
Three quick steps
screamed
leapt
end

I was standing no more than 2m away from her. That was 2 hours odd ago and i'm getting over the shock of it thuogh my tummy still feels queasy.

What could have driven someone to do that??? It sure makes any problems we have seem trivial when someone else has issues so insoluble that they have to do that. Are we as a society unable to care enough for people in need of help that they need to do something like that?

I hope the children on the platform get proper help dealing with this...it was around 2pm with lots of kids.

At the moment it happened, first thing that struck me was shock then this overwhelming feeling of sadness. Now, i'm just glad to be alive with trivial trivial problems and issues to deal with. God, thank you so much for giving me the life i have.
